Easy Asian Marinated Flank Steak Served 3 Ways
Bulk cooking flank steak is a great way to meal prep for the week and it’s versatile enough to be repurposed into a bunch of different dishes so you don’t get bored. Follow this recipe and you can enjoy asian flank steak in three different ways.
Easy Asian Marinated Flank Steak
- 2 pounds flank steak
- ½ cup thinly sliced green onions scallions
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 3 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons lime juice juice of 1 lime
Marinate: add and shake up all ingredients (except for the steak) in a zip lock bag. Add steak to bag and ensure it’s thoroughly coated.
Grill: the steak for about 5-8 minutes per side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
Preheat oven: Set to broil (or 500°F). Move the rack to be a few inches below the broiler.
Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, flip steak over and broil for another 2 to 4 minutes (or until it reaches your desired level of doneness). Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

Add leftover steak to a salad with cabbage, romaine lettuce, cashews, bell peppers, green onions, carrots, and a nice asian salad dressing (like sesame ginger, thai peanut or asian vinaigrette).
